A Lemon A Day Keeps You Fit & Healthy All The Way!
I love the comment made by Melvin last week. He said, 'to be sixty years young is far more cheerful and hopeful than to be forty years old'. I fully agree with him as I am still growing up in life.
Today, I wish to share the benefits of lemon with you. Just before I retire for the day, I will drink my chilled, freshly squeezed, neat lemon juice to keep myself fit and healthy. I have been drinking my regular fresh lemon juice for more than a year now.
It is a healthy drink. It aids in my indigestion, quench my thirst for the night, helps in my body's detoxifying process while I sleep, better manage and stabilize my blood glucose especially after my dinner. My hypertension readings are better now. My gums are no longer giving me problem and last but not least I have not been having any sore throat or throat inflamation for a long time (due to its antiseptic properties). Oh, my cholesterol test results had also shown a marked improvement as well.
Taking a lemon a day makes has made me feel better and better everyday.
Since I noticed the improvement in my overall fitness and health (in fact, those close to me have commented positively on the change that they have noticed in me) I have also been encouraging people around me to do justice to themselves and find out for themselves how they can stand to benefit by drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice everyday. You can either drink it neat, mix with some water or perhaps add honey into it if you like. But, its easier to drink when it is chilled. Not that bitter either. The taste is great and someone once told me that its like drinking red wine. You will enjoy it once you are used to the taste.
I have reasons to believe that the wonderful lemon have the ability to alter our blood chemistry and promote our wellbeing. And, what more, it is a rich source for Vitamin C.
After taking chilled, neat lemon juice for a month, I know that one has lose his weight significantly. He had his blood test done recently. His uric acid level is better. Cholesterol level is now at borderline. Care to imagine what could have possibly been if he have not been faithfully drinking his lemon juice?
Another had started to reduce her weight as well. She is now telling me very happily that it is cheaper and healthier than taking up any lose weight plan.
I am convinced that having a lemon a day has made me feel better and better everyday. And, has kept me fit and healthy all the way. Why not give yourself a week or two and try it out yourself? Drop your comments after that.

Hi edduard, great to have you visiting 'Working Woes'. Give it a try now that you already have your check done. Have your regular chilled, neat lemon juice for a month. Notice the differences. If you feel much better and noted improvements, continue for another month or two. Then, have your blood glucose tested again. You will see an improvement but control your diet, that's very important as well. Wish you luck and keep in touch. Regards.
