Our Subtle Or Energy Bodies.

@ 09:04 PM (2 months, 10 days ago)

It is said that there are four energy bodies:

  1. The Ethereal body.
  2. The emotional or astra body.
  3. The mental body.
  4. The spiritual or causative body.

Each of these bodies possesses its own fundamental vibrational frequency. The ethereal body, which is closest to the physical body, vibrates with the lowest frequency. The astral and mental bodies has the highest frequency of all. These bodies are the bearers of consciousness at their levels of vibration. When their vibrational frequency rises, they provide the human being with higher forms of energy, sensation and awareness. The energy bodies are not separate from one another. They pervade each other while continuing to vibrate their individual frequency range and someone possessing the capability of seeing them can differentiate between them if his vision is attuned to the specific sphere.

The Ethereal Body.

This body resembles the physical body in shape and dimension, and is therefore sometimes called the 'ethereal twin' or 'inner physical body'. It is the bearer of powers that shape the physical body's, the vital, creative energy of life, and all physical sensation. An important function of this body is the role it plays as a mediator between the higher frequency bodies and the physical body in that it transfers information which we gain through our physical senses to the astral and mental bodies while simultaneously transporting energy and information from the higher bodies to the physical body.

The Astral Body.

Also known as the emotional body, is the carrier of feelings, emotions and character traits. It occupies in the same space as the physical body. The aura of the astral body has an oval form and may extend several yards around the person. Every change of emotion is radiated out into the aura of the astral body. thus, the astral body consists of an indescribable play of constantly changing colors, shinning in all imaginable hues.

The Mental Body.

Our thoughts, ideas and our rational and intuitative perceptions are all borne by the mental body. Its vibrations are higher than those of the ethereal and astral bodies and its structure is less dense. It is oval in shape and as the person advances to a higher plane, its volume may increase to the point where it takes up about as much space as the astral body and the emotional aura combined. The aura radiation of the mental body exceeds these by several yards.Once the mental body is fully developed it becomes the mirror of the spiritual body, and the person realizes the wisdom and holistic cognition of the Higher Self in his life.

The Spiritual Body.

Frequently refered as the causative body, possess the highest vibrational frequency of all the energy bodies. Through the spiritual body we experience inner unity with all life. It connects us with pure Divine Being, the omnipresent basis of Creation from which all manifestation comes forth. The spiritual body is that divine part of us which is immortal, while the subtle bodies slowly disolve in the course of time as the person develops beyond the stages of consciousness necessitating existence on the worldly, astral and mental planes. Lastly, the spiritual body constantly receives the highest, most radiant energy from the spiritual level of being.

The human aura always begins from the inside,  1) the ethereal aura;  2) the emotional aura;  3) the mental aura;  4) the spiritual aura.

Note: The above concludes my brief introduction on Chakras. I hope you find it informative and I may post more indepth articles pertaining to this subject in furture if time permits.

One of Sun Tzu's writing, "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the results of a hundred battles" seems to be always hanging around the lips of our late father. "If you know yourself but not your enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."

The human system is believed to be a network of energies. There are 7 energy centers or 'chakras' located in the glands along the centre line of the spine. Each 'chakra' is an active pulsating vortex of vital energy, which expands through and around the surface of the body and emits the electromagnetic waves of vibrations that are known as 'auras'.

The both of them came all the way from Bangladesh. Taufiq is presently doing his 'Tourism & Hospitality' course in Sunway and is about to graduate soon. He was kind enough to install my new Bluetooth into my notebook for me. 'Thanks' buddy.
