Working Woes ......

The human system is believed to be a network of energies. There are 7 energy centers or 'chakras' located in the glands along the centre line of the spine. Each 'chakra' is an active pulsating vortex of vital energy, which expands through and around the surface of the body and emits the electromagnetic waves of vibrations that are known as 'auras'.

It is in these energy centers that thoughts and feelings register first, directly affecting and regulating the whole functioning of the body: metabolism, circulation, elimination, reproduction. When the 'chakras' of the Human Being are fully open, in perfect health and wholeness, the seven colors in the spectrum vibrate to their perfect frequencies, in alignment with the natural order of the universe. Otherwise, there is imbalance in the inner system manifesting into the outer system, resulting in dis-ease.

Everything in our universe is in order. Our expression of this natural order is the constant rising of the sun in the East and its predictable setting in the West. The paths of the planets in the galaxies also express this natural order and harmony. Everything in nature is in order and harmony. The frequencies in the seven colors in the spectrum, for instance, are also contained in the vibrations of the seven days of the week, the seven notes in the musical scale and the seven colors of the rainbow. The harmonics in creation are in universal order.

The state of the 'chakras' depends upon one's thoughts and corresponding feelings and actions, and this is reflected through the attitudes and behaviour that condition the personality and image of a human being.

For instance, one who gets stuck on the Root Chakra is The Survivor, the kind of person who lives only to survive.

One who is focused on the Abdominal Chakra is The Sensualist, the type of person who lives only to enjoy the things of the senses like food, sex, emotional ties and material wealth.

One who is focused on the Solar Plexus Chakra is The Competitive, and tends to be highly emotional and aggressive, wanting to be better than the rest.

The best chakra to empower is the Heart Center, the middle chakra that bridges the lower and higher centers. The opening of The Heart center makes one The Lover. When the heart is open, the energies flow through the other centers. Pictures of holy beings are protrayed with light emanating from their heart center to illustrate the whole and divine state that they have realized. Christ emphasised the importance of the sacredness of the heart center when he delivered the message "Love your neighbors as your Self."

The Heart chakra is the doorway to the higher centers of the Throat Chakra which opens up makes one The Expressive.

The opening of the Third Eye makes one The Seer.

The opening of the Crown Center makes one The Knower.

When the energies in the 'chakras' flow freely and openly, one creates a state of balance and health in one's system. When all colors vibrate according to their perfect frequencies, the resultant aura is the White Light, a merging of the seven colors, or the Inner Self.
