Superman Had Gone Missing.
It all started when a young man met a holy man, named Superman at the latter's fortune-telling website last year.
This young man realised that he just had too much obstacles in his life and decided to seek the holy man's help and visited Superman at his house last month. On the recommendation of Superman he bought two amulets purpotedly made of precious stones, costing an equivalent of RM 1,800. These amulets according to Superman were said to be able to bring peace and wealth to him. And, the young man finally very politely bid farewell to Superman and was confident that with the possession of these amulets, the future will only be getting better and better everyday.
One fine Suday morning the young man decided to check on the authenticity of the precious stones with a jeweller and found them to be fake. All efforts to contact Superman failed and his last resort was to send Superman an SMS asking for his money back. After a few days, Superman finally replied saying that he would return the money. But until today the holy man, named Superman had not done so.
A police report was subseuently made by the young man. I guess this is another lesson that we should take heed. No pun intended on anyone, but many men and women of all ages are still overly superstitious and fall prey to these so-called holy man like Superman and other bogus religious practitioners. I personally believe that, " ......... sucess does not depend on luck, or anything else ................" (A part of my Personal Confidence Creed that I still practise everyday).
