Working Woes ......

Troubled by the never ending negative news on the global economic recession and watching more and more people getting affected by it, I sent an e-mail to Superman and requested for an appointment with him. When I finally got to meet Superman, I engaged him on the current global economic meltdown.

"Oh holy one, can you enlighten me on this global economic recession?" I asked.

"It's very much like the goose that laid the golden eggs story that you may have heard of. When the goose laid one goolden egg a day, the owner was not happy. He wanted two golden eggs a day. So the owner began to feed the goose with vitamins and supplements until it began to lay two golden eggs a day. And when that happens, again the owner wants ten golden eggs a day. So, the owner gave the goose injections every day. Now, the goose is not well" Superman explained.

The holy man went on to say, "It is because of greed. People want more money. Commodity prices went up. Others took the opportunity to hike their prices. Inflation sets in and later it became out of control and burst." Upon finishing those words Superman took a large bowl and threw it on the floor. Obviously, the bowl was broken.

After a minute or two, Superman began to explain the significance of the broken bowl. "This is like our rice bowl. Now that it is broken, it signifies a loss of income. And that is exactly what is happening to many families right now." Then, Superman began to pick up the broken pieces on the floor.

"Here take these broken pieces with you and as soon as you get home, you must set out to glue all these broken parts together. If you have to do it a hundred times, just do it and only at night when everyone in your household is asleep and preferably in darkness" as Superman put the broken pieces into a plastic bag.

"But, how can it be done?" I asked.

"The power of my prayers, is like the stimulus and it will be able to energise the impossible. Together with your faith in me, my power of telepathy wil connect us online and you will be able to see these broken pieces forming into a bowl again sooner or later. That signifies that confidence is returning to the market. Then you invest in the share market and will become rich. Just follow what I had told you, look hard at the bowl don't even blink your eyes and don't reveal to anyone if you can see this sign of confidence returning to the market. Ha, ha, ha."

Well, a lot of bull today. But, it just goes to show how these so-called holy men and bogus religious practioners work. Always with half real, have bull talk that caused the mind to shift from logical thinking. Beware.
