A New Day, Another Chance To Do Better
When I was a young student back then, a slogan that reads 'Tomorrow, the sun will rise again. A new Day. Another chance to do better!' was one of the many slogans that we, boarders had pasted and used to decorate on the walls inside our hostel. It had always served as an inspiration or at times a reminder to all of us then.
Those boarding days were really tough. But, interesting too. Everyday was filled with activities till lights off. And whether you like it or dislike it, you will still have to participate in all the activites for the day. Otherwise, you will have to face the music. But, if I am given the opportunity to re-live my teens again, I will still opt to undergo it again. Yes, despite those strict discipline, rules, tight schedule and very regimental life.
From hindsight, there were a lot of happy days, fun, excitement, full of adventures and what I treasure most was the opportunity to grow up with the others. They were of different races, religious beliefs and coming from various backgrounds. The character building provided by the Rev. Brothers then, had shaped me to be a stronger and tougher person in character.
Yes, the sun did rise again this morning. I got out of bed a little late this morning because I was watching F1 live in the wee hours of the morning. While watching the live transmission, two questions came to my mind. 'Is it the car that makes a winner?' or 'Is it the winner that makes the car, no1?' Before I could find any answers to my questions the telecast ended with my hero, Hamilton occupying the no.2 position at the grandstand.
Today, is a new day for me. Firstly, it's great to blog again after resting over the weekend. Secondly, I am starting this week with a new tag and with the grace of God, I canl continue watching the sun rise every morning, live a new day each day, and have the chance to do better each day, for the rest of my life.
